Environments¶

There are several versions of 'qcat' available, this page lists the commonalities and differences.

Dev¶

• https://qcat-dev.wocat.net
• Purpose: CDE internal testing and review of translations.
• Notes:
  • This version is not stable and may be unavailable for several days. Do not share this URL!
  • Data is reset periodically.
  • The page is considerably slower than live.

Demo¶

• https://qcat-demo.wocat.net
• Purpose: Trainings.
• Notes:
  • Perform trainings only on this version, so the training-questionnaires do not show up for the reviewers/secretariat on the official website.
  • This version is stable and has the same features as the 'live' version.
  • The created questionnaires are deleted periodically.

Live¶

• https://qcat.wocat.net
• Purpose: the official website.

Notes¶

• All versions are available for the public, no VPN or such is required.
• The same account can be used for login on all versions.
• All bugfixes and new features are applied to 'dev' first, where there are tested and approved. After approval, the changes are applied to demo and live at the same time.
